The idea
Mega Tees started where most good bits start: someone too caught up in their own joke to let it go. The premise was simple and hasn't changed — the world has plenty of generic "Best Dad" tees in a tired font on a thin blank. What it's short on is shirts with an actual point of view: the recliner constitutional scholar, the suburban lawn-management consultant, the cat dad who narrates the cat's inner monologue out loud. We make the shirt for the specific person, not the focus group.
How we make them
Every design in the catalog is drawn for Mega Tees — not pulled from a stock library, not reskinned clipart from a marketplace. The bits get written, the art gets drawn, and the shirt only exists because we thought it was funny enough to put our name on.
We print on demand in the US. Nothing is made until you order it, which means no warehouse full of unsold shirts headed for a landfill, and no guessing which size of a new design to stock. Your shirt is printed for you on a soft, heavyweight cotton tee and usually leaves the facility in 2–5 business days.
What we're going for
Still a family operation. Still in Houston. Still printing in the US and shipping fast. The catalog keeps growing because new bits keep landing and we keep drawing them — new designs go up every week.
If you wear one of our shirts and a stranger laughs at it within 48 hours, we've done our job. That's the metric. That's the whole thing.
