Who we are
"Mega Tees," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the family-owned business operating from Houston, Texas, that sells original humor t-shirts via megatees.shop.
Orders + payment
- All prices are in USD unless otherwise noted.
- Payment is processed by Shopify at checkout. We never see your full card details.
- Placing an order is an offer; it's accepted when we send a confirmation email.
- We may cancel or refuse an order if we suspect fraud, payment failure, or stock issues. You'll be refunded in full.
Print on demand — mockups vs. printed shirts
Every shirt is printed to order using direct-to-garment printing. The product images on our site are digital mockups that illustrate the design — they are not photographs of your specific item. The actual printed colors, ink density, print placement and size, and overall appearance may differ from the mockup you see on screen.
This happens for reasons partly outside our control: every screen renders color differently (phone, tablet, and monitor calibration all vary), direct-to-garment ink reproduces color differently than a backlit screen, and the blank garment's shade can vary slightly between production batches. Print position may also shift slightly (roughly half an inch) from shirt to shirt, since each item is aligned and printed individually.
These variations are a normal characteristic of made-to-order printing and are not defects. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that minor differences in color, placement, and appearance between the mockup and the printed shirt may occur, and that these are not grounds for a refund or replacement. We do, of course, replace or refund items with genuine printing defects — see our returns policy.
Shipping + delivery
See our shipping policyfor processing times, carriers, and delivery estimates. We can't guarantee delivery dates — carriers occasionally take longer than expected.
Returns + exchanges
See our returns policy. Short version: defective or misprinted items are replaced or refunded free. Sizing returns are limited because every shirt is printed to order.
Intellectual property
Every design in the Mega Tees catalog is original artwork created for or licensed by Mega Tees. Buying a shirt gives you ownership of the shirt — not the design. Don't copy, reprint, or resell the artwork. Wear it, gift it, photograph it, post it on social media — those are all fine and encouraged.
User-submitted content
If you tag us on social media, email us a joke, or otherwise send us content, you give us permission to repost or share that content with attribution where reasonable. You retain ownership of what you submit.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any illegal purpose.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to our systems or any other user's data.
- Scrape, copy, or republish the catalog, designs, or product copy.
- Submit fraudulent orders, dispute legitimate charges, or otherwise abuse the platform.
Disclaimers + liability
Mega Tees is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the site being bug-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any specific purpose. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the products in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms; substantial changes will be announced and re-dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
